Vishwa Srivastava has been involved in the field of robotic assisted surgery since 2008. He completed his premedical courses at Columbia University in New York City and completed his medical degree from Saint James School of Medicine. In 2009, while working as the director of digital media and technology at St. Josephs Hospital in Atlanta, Dr. Srivatava was the first person in the field to develop a high-definition teaching website for robotic cardiac surgery. The goal was to assist in cardiothoracic surgeons lessening their respective learning curves through didactic training modules as they transitioned from conventional approaches to minimally invasive robotic approaches.
